Or maybe you simply reached a point where you realised you couldn’t keep surviving emotionally the way you had been.
Whatever brought you here, you’re not alone.

I’m Kevin Gill, author of They Became The Chapter. You Became The Author, A Fine Line Between Love and Hate: A Memoir of Love, Betrayal and What Remains, From the Ring to the Boardroom and The Narcissist Handbook: Recognise the Narcissist: The Lies, Love Bombing, and Manipulation That Break You.
I don’t write from theory alone.
I write from lived experience.

The breakdown of relationships.
 Emotional burnout.
 Therapy.
 Identity loss.
 Mental health struggles.
 Physical health battles.
 Rebuilding confidence.
 Learning boundaries.

And slowly finding my way back to myself after life completely fell apart.
This website was created for people searching for answers, healing, clarity, and hope after difficult periods in life.
Not perfection.

What You’ll Find Here

Across this site I write openly about:

  •  heartbreak and healing
  •  emotional burnout
  •  toxic relationship patterns
  •  anxiety and emotional exhaustion
  •  rebuilding confidence
  •  therapy and personal growth
  •  mental health
  •  resilience
  •  recovery
  •  learning to choose yourself again

Because healing isn’t about pretending life didn’t hurt you.

It’s about refusing to let pain become the end of your story.

A Personal Note

There was a time in my life where I genuinely thought I would never feel like myself again.
I lost weight rapidly.
My mental health collapsed.
I became emotionally consumed trying to save relationships and situations that were slowly destroying me.
At the same time, I was facing serious health concerns, including a prostate cancer diagnosis that forced me to completely reassess my life, priorities, and emotional wellbeing.
Therapy changed my life.
Writing helped me process things I could not say out loud.
And slowly, one day at a time, I rebuilt.
Not perfectly.
But honestly.
That’s why this site exists.
To remind people that even after heartbreak, loss, betrayal, anxiety, or emotional collapse…
you can still rebuild your life.

One Final Thing

If nobody has told you this recently:
You are not weak for struggling.
You are not broken because someone hurt you.
And healing does not require you to become somebody else.
Sometimes healing simply begins the moment you stop abandoning yourself, trying to keep somebody else.
Welcome.
