Frequently Asked Questions
Are your books based on real experiences?
Many of my books are inspired by real emotions, experiences, relationships, and life lessons. Some details, names, timelines, and identifying information have been changed for privacy reasons.
Are the people in your books real?
The books are written to explore emotional experiences and healing, not to target or identify individuals. Characters and situations may be inspired by common relationship dynamics experienced by many people.
Are your memoirs based on real experiences?
Yes. My memoir-style books, including titles such as From the Ring to the Boardroom, are inspired by real experiences, emotions, challenges, and periods of my life.
However, all names, identifying details, locations, timelines, and certain events have been changed, adapted, fictionalised, or combined to protect the privacy of individuals and those connected to the stories.
Some characters may represent a blend of multiple people or experiences rather than one specific individual.
The books are written to explore themes such as resilience, healing, relationships, loss, mindset, and personal growth rather than to identify or portray any one person directly.
Do you write and publish the books entirely yourself?
Every book starts with me.
I develop the ideas, themes, stories, and first drafts based on my own experiences, research, and the messages I want the books to communicate.
From there, I work with professional editors, proofreaders, and designers to help bring each book to its final published version.
Over time I have worked with a number of talented professionals through platforms such as Reedsy and Fiverr for:
- proofreading
- developmental editing
- formatting
- cover design
- publishing support
The process is collaborative.
I begin with the concept and manuscript, then work closely with editors to strengthen the structure, clarity, pacing, and readability before the final version is completed. Once the manuscript is finished, I provide the creative direction and ideas for the cover while working with professional designers to bring the visual concept to life.
I believe good books are rarely created entirely in isolation. Working with experienced professionals helps ensure every book reaches the highest standard possible for readers.
Are you a therapist?
No. I am not a licensed therapist or psychologist. Everything I share comes from personal experience, coaching experience, research, and my own healing journey.
Do you offer one-to-one support?
Yes. While I can, I currently offer free informal support conversations for people struggling with heartbreak, emotional recovery, confidence, or rebuilding themselves after difficult experiences.
How do I contact you?
You can reach out through the contact page on the website.
Are your books available internationally?
Yes. My books are available digitally and in selected formats through major online retailers, including Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, and other platforms.
Why do you write about heartbreak and healing?
Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself emotionally and try to rebuild quietly while the world keeps moving around you. Writing became part of my healing process, and I hope it helps others feel less alone in theirs.
